- Cool-down & Stretch
Just a reminder that the running program during the winter is an off season program designed to be coupled with a strong dose of strength work. We as humans and athletes run best when we are cyclical in our exercise patterns. Doing the same thing day in and day out leads to burn out and plateauing. During the winter, lift heavy, run less (but still run) and sleep alot and know that more mileage and more running days are coming soon.
